Srinagar, March 09 (KNO) : Police on Saturday claimed to have identified the two wheeler involved in a hit and run case that lead to the death of an elderly lady at Barzulla area of Srinagar. According to KNO correspondent, a 75-year-old woman was hit by a two wheeler at around 03:30 pm on Friday at Barzulla. The elderly identified as Haleema begum, wife of Dr Mohd Rafiq Khan of Baghat Barzulla however succumbed to her injuries later. The two wheeler that had hit her escaped from the spot of incident but police said that have been successful in tracing the scooty number. A police official told KNO that they have narrowed down the number of the scooty involved in the hit and run case. “We will soon apprehend the accused,” he said.(KNO)
